Sarasota FL. – Halfacre Construction has donated $20,000 of in kind services to completely renovate the Selby School and to build a new athletic field at Community Haven. Dignitaries and a large crowd gathered on Monday September 16, 2013 to celebrate the ribbon cutting of the new facilities.

“This newly renovated building is providing great opportunities to our students,” said Marla Doss, president and CEO of Community Haven. “With their generous donation and a lot of hard work, Halfacre Construction has been wonderful to work with. They really stepped up and helped us in so many ways,” said Doss.

Senator John McKay, Dr. Sarah Pappas of the Selby Foundation, Sarasota County Commission Chair Carolyn Mason and other area officials attended the ribbon cutting ceremony and toured the new school.
